Getting to Kawartha Lakes

Driving Here

Kawartha Lakes is accessible by four provincial highways that are open year-round and are well maintained.  Highway 35, Highway 115, Highway 7A and Highway 7.  These highways link to municipal roads throughout Kawartha Lakes that connect our towns and villages.

Kawartha Lakes is a short 90 minute drive (132 km or 82 mile) north-east of Toronto.  We are located approximately 4 hours south-west Ottawa, 2.5 hours north-east of Niagara Falls, and 2 hours south of Algonquin Park.

Flying Here

Kawartha Lakes Municipal Airport is located in the town of Lindsay and operates 7 days a week, year round.  For more information on our Kawartha Lakes Municipal Airport.

Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are both located an approximate 90 minute drive south-west of Kawartha Lakes. 

There are several options available to assist in transit from the airport to Kawartha Lakes, all conveniently waiting to take you where you want to go.

Car Rentals, Taxis and Limousines

Enterprise Rent-a-Car is located on site at both Pearson and Billy Bishop airports offering car rental services including one-way drop services to the town of Lindsay in Kawartha Lakes.
