In the late 1800's, the Argyle Farm Market, previously known as "the old Argyle Hotel", was situated along the Toronto and Nippissing Railway Line and served as a hotel for those travelling by train to Coboconk. Today, the main floor and verandah serve as a farmer's market where fresh local food products are sold.
