Explore Lindsay and surrounding areas: Cambray, Little Britain, Oakwood, Woodville

The town of Lindsay offers a delightful variety of experiences including theater, festivals, historic sites, museums, artisan studios as well as streets lined with locally-owned shops, galleries, and restaurants. 

Surrounding Lindsay are the towns of Little Britain, Oakwood and Woodville. As you drive through these towns, be sure to pick up baked goods in Little Britain, visit the Woodville sales barn on sale day and search for antiques in Oakwood. As you explore this area, you will find many places to get up close and personal with agriculture and opportunities to buy local from the Kawartha Choice Farm Fresh vendors.

There are multiple scenic paddling routes in Lindsay. Paddle through Ken Reid Conservation Area, McLaren's Creek Wetland, Emily Provincial Park, and more!

Ken Reid Conservation Area spans 110 hectares (272 acres), safeguarding diverse landscapes such as forests, meadows, and the provincially significant McLaren’s Creek Wetland.

Academy Theatre
Built in 1892, the Academy Theatre is a historic landmark in downtown Lindsay. When the theatre opened its doors in 1893, it was billed as the most acoustically perfect theatre in Canada.
