Norland

Norland Old School Hall. Norland, Ontario. Kawartha LakesLocated on the Gull River at the north end of Shadow Lake, Norland was originally called 'Nordland', the name was erroneously recorded by the Province without the "d" and became Norland. This remarkable town is marked by the granite that comprises the Canadian Shield and everywhere are the cedars and pines that are reminiscent of Group of Seven paintings.
